The BICEPS Network is a network of shippers joining forces to accelerate the transition in the global shipping sector towards decarbonization.
Our mission is to boost initiatives and create momentum for the implementation of sustainability solutions in the shipping sector by using the power of demand of shippers.
The mission of the BICEPS Network is to boost the decarbonization of shipping by Boosting Initiatives for Collaborative Emissions reduction with the Power of Shippers.
The companies of the BICEPS Network join forces to accelerate the transition in the global shipping sector towards more sustainability.
The joint mission is create momentum for the implementation of sustainability solutions in the shipping sector by using the Power of Demand of shippers.
The goal is to create significant sustainable impact in global shipping and related supply chains.
The BICEPS Network will, in collaboration with the sector chain partners, create impact in shipping on the following themes:
- Reduction of emissions of CO2, sulphur and black carbon,
- Decarbonization of shipping by clean fuels, port call optimization, energy-efficiency solutions, wind propulsion, etc.
- Impact on biodiversity of a.o. ballast water,
- End-of-life cycle programs for vessels.
